It was an exciting evening for, The Awesome Women's Networking Group. We held our annual fashion show, “Beautiful You”. This year the organization's beneficiary was Christians Overcoming Cancer.

I was truly impressed with the generosity of all the women that were involved with making this evening a success for such a worthwhile cause. Mary Jenkins' story brought tears to all of our eyes, her inspiration and perseverance touched our hearts. It's amazing what the power of just one “Awesome Woman” can do.

Mary Jenkins started Christians Overcoming Cancer 2 1/2 years ago when she was faced with stage 3 breast cancer. As a single mother,Mary faced many obstacles including the need for financial assistance. She was blessed with help from members of her church and other people dedicated to helping her through this life altering experience. Mary recognized the many blessing she received and was moved through her faith to help others facing the same obstacles she faced. Christians Overcoming Cancer's efforts have grown to helping others in 22 states and 3 countries.
